Jas M. David, Enlisted in Company G, Unit 43 GA Infantry, of the Southern
Confederacy on March 10, 1862. Rank Induction Corporal, Discharge -
Corporal. Residence at time of enlistment is stated to be Jackson Co.,
GA.
James David died at Sharps burg, which was the site of the battle of
Antie tam. The battle lasted several days until the Confederacy lost the
battle and Lee had to retreat.
