William David was born about 1857 in the parish of Nolton that is if his marriage entry is to be taken at face value. The marriage entry reads, William David, bachelor, collier and Ann Howell, spinster, both of this parish. The couple married in 1787 at Nolton parish church. They had at least eight children, these are, William (b 1787) James (b 1791) Jennet (b 1794) 1st Mary (b 1801) 2nd Mary (b 1806) Ann (b 1803) Martha (b 1807) and finally Margaret (b 1819). We can deduct from these baptism entries that the couple were alive up to 1810. As yet I have not found a burial of either William or Mary. And have little to add to their profiles.
