Biography

Christina David, daughter of Joseph David and Elizabeth Thiehoff, was born on 18 Feb 1846 in Altschermbeck, Recklinghausen, Westfalen, Prussia and baptized the next day at St. Ludgerus parish. ^[1] She came to the USA with her parents in 1847. ^[2]

Christina married Bernard Rauenhorst, son of Wilhelm Rauenhorst and Adelheid Buskamp, on 29 Jan 1867 at Burlington, Racine, Wisconsin ^[3] and they had 3 sons and 6 daughters. They settled finally in Burlington, where Bernard died on 01 Jan 1917, ^[4] and Christina died on 24 Feb 1922. ^[5]
