Biography

Steve went by numerous variations of his name, over the years as well as having used aliases. When he initially knew my mother, he was known to her as "Rocky Madison". It wasn't until they were at the court house marrying that she learned his legal name was in fact Steve Lamond Frederick David. She was his 2nd marriage. His first was to Maloah L Grover. Steve married Maloah in Idaho. A few years later, he married my mother, Juanita L Mann in Denver, Colorado. He had not yet, however, divorced Maloah. It wasn't until a few years later that he finally divorced Maloah. He had two sons with Maloah (one prior to his marriage to Juanita & one during). He had three son & one daughter with Juanita. Steve moved his 2nd family around quite a bit as he found work in various locations then left those jobs for "greener pastures" elsewhere. By the early 1970s Juanita filed for divorce from Steve, in Yerington, Nevada. He soon remarried. Taking Delores Byriene as his 3rd wife, beginning a chain of marriages (and a small number of divorces) totally perhaps 15 or more wives in almost as many states.^[1]
