Agnes was born in 1839 in Westminster, Middlesex. Her mother's maiden name was Turner.[1]
1841 Census on the 6th June 1841 Agnes was living at St Georges Place, Hanover Square, Middlesex with her parents Thomas and Elizabeth, and her siblings Elizabeth Lucy and John.[2]
1851 Census on the 30th March 1851 Agnes was living at St Georges Place, Hanover Square, Middlesex with her parents Thomas and Elizabeth, and her siblings Elizabeth, Lucy, Catherine, Alfred, Blanche and Lionel.[3]
In 1864 Agnes married George Chater (1839 - 1915) at St George's Church, Hanover Square, London, England.[4]

1871 Census on the 2nd April 1871 Agnes was living at 22 Belsize Road, Hampstead, Middlesex with her husband George and their sons Arthur and Lionel.[5][6]
1881 Census on the 3rd April 1881 Agnes was living at 41 Porchester Square, Paddington, London with her husband George.[7]
1891 Census on the 5th April 1891 Agnes was living at Love Hill House, Langley, Buckinghamshire, with her husband George and their childen Arthur and Lionel. George's parents George and Louisa were staying with them.[8][9]
1911 Census on the 2nd April 1911 Agnes was living at 41 Porchester Square, Paddington, London with her husband George and their son Arthur.[10]
Agnes, of 41 Porchester Square, Middlesex, died aged 81 on the 14th October 1919 and her death was registered in the 4th quarter 1919 in Paddington, London.[11]
Probate of Agnes' estate, £2867 16s. 10d., was processed in London on the 11th December 1919 and passed to her son Lionel George Chater.[12]
