[1] CRUICKSHANK - DAVIDSON. - On Wednesday, the 13th instant, by special license at the residence of the bride's parents, Kent-street North, by the Rev. Dr. Lang, M.P., Mr. William Cruickshank, engineer, a native of Aberdeen, Scotland, to Annie Woodrow, only daughter of the late Mr. Archibald Davidson, engineer, a native of Glasgow, Scotland.

The Sydney Morning Herald (NSW : 1842 - 1954), Tuesday 13 September 1898. [4] THE LATE MRS. CRUICKSHANK. - Yesterday afternoon the funeral of the late Mrs. Cruickshank, wife of Mr. W. D. Cruickshank (Government Consulting Engineer and Surveyor to the Marine Board), took place at the Waverley Cemetery. There was a very large assemblage at Kinvarra, Ewenton-avenue, where the Rev. Dr. Cosh, of the Balmain Presbyterian Church, conducted a short memorial service, and he also officiated at the grave. The remains were enclosed in an oaken casket, on which were inscribed "Annie Woodrow Cruickshank. Died 11th September, 1898, aged 52 years." Amongst those present at the residence and at the grave were - Messrs. A. D. Nelson, M.L.A. (President of the New South Wales Engineering Association), Alderman A. M.
