Biography
Alexander George Davidson was born 29 Jul 1875 on the Mackie Steps in Skene, the son of Mary Ann Donald, Domestic Servant, and Alexander Davidson (Farm Servant). His parents were not married. At the time of his birth his father Alexander lived at Easter Tolmads in Kincardine O'Neil.
In the 1881 census, 5 year old Alexander was living with his maternal grandparents George Donald and Mary Ann Duncan at Standing Stones in Skene.
