Eleanor Astley (Davies) Doyle was born on 9 Jul 1889 in Townsville, Queensland, Australia, daughter of George Astley Davies (1858 - 1926) and Elizabeth (Bell) Davies (1852 - 1896).^[1]

Eleanor married Charles Richard Doyle (1877 - 1933) on 17 Nov 1912 in Coorparoo, Queensland. ^[2]
