Biography
George Davies was born about 1771. He married Catherine (Pearson) Davies in 1796 in County Cork, Ireland. [1]
He died, aged 50, on the 29th August 1821 at Alfred Place, Bloomsbury, London. [2]
Research Notes
No trace has yet been found of his birth, possibly due to the loss of Irish records. There are a number of Davies (also spelt Davis) families in Cork, but so far no matching George. A death notice says that he was formerly of Cork.
