Biography

Born 2 Mar 1858 and baptised 24 Mar 1883 in St John, Cardiff.

In 1881 his is living with his parents at Ely Rd, Llandaff, Glamorganshire, Wales. He is working as an Engineers Apprentice.

In 1891 after his first wife's death he is living at Bute Crescent (Hotel), in St Mary, Cardiff, Wales. He is working as a Hotel Keeper.

Marriage with Sarah Ellen Holbrook 4 May 1895 in St John, Canton, Glamorgan, Wales.

In 1901 he is living with her new wife, the two oldest children (Gladys and Harold) from his previous marriage, a sister of his new wife and two servants in George Street, St Mary, Cardiff, Glamorganshire, England. He is still working as a Hotelkeeper.

After the death of Catherine their children are staying with his parents and in 1901 the two oldest children are staying with him, while Elsie is staying with his mother, and Irene is staying with her new wife's parents.
