Elizabeth Davis was born at Gloucester, Massachusetts on June 27, 1667, daughter of Jacob Davis and Elizabeth Bennett. ^{[1] [2]}

Nathaniel Coit

After Elizabeth's death Nathaniel married Abigail (___) Stevens, widow of William Stevens ^{[4] [10]} who died on January 8, 1709/10. ^[7]
Nathaniel married third, widow Hannah Sargeant, intention filed at Gloucester on November 30, 1711. ^{[3] [4]}

Captain Nathaniel Coit died on January 10, 1742/3. aged 84. ^[7]
His son-in-law Joseph Allen administered his estate. His real estate was assessed at L168 8s 4d and a committe was assigned to prepare a land division. On May 17, 1744 ^[8]
