Biography

David was born before 1860. In his daughter's marriage certificate his occupation was shown as labourer. By his death he appears to have been resident at the Orient & Royal Oak hotel - his wife had died many years previously.

He may also possibly previously been a seaman: David Davies b 1845 in Conway was registered in the Victorian Register of Certificates of Competency (Nr 127) as being an Only Mate from June 1876 .
