John Davies I, of Paradise Green, Church Minshull, Cheshire (believed to have migrated from Tarvin, Cheshire), yeoman and churchwarden; m. there, 14 Apr 1691, Mary (d. post 1707), dau. of John Tench, and died post 1707 and before 1732 (?bur. 28 Jan 1730).
