Biography

Francois Davignon was born on October 16, 1752 in Chambly, Canada, Nouvelle-France. His parents were Jean-Baptiste Davignon and Madeleine Massé. [1]

He married Marie Anne Lavoie on September 01, 1777. It was a well attended event with two of his siblings and three of hers in attendance.[2] Together they had 6 children:

  1. Marie Marthe Davignon
  2. Amable Davignon
  3. François Davignon
  4. Josephe Marie Davignon
  5. Joseph Davignon
  6. Toussaint Davignon

He died on December 24, 1831 in Pointe-Olivier, Bas-Canada, he was 78.[3]
