His parents were Rebecca Anne Sweeney and Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Davis b=1837 d=1913.

On 5 Dec 1894 in South Bend Township, Blue Earth County, Minnesota he married Mary Hannah Lewis^[1] b=29 April 1879 in South Bend Township, Blue Earth County, Minnesota d=22 Nov 1958 in Bloomington, Hennepin County, Minnesota (daughter of David LEWIS & Margaret JONES). They had about 6 children.

He died on 02 Mar 1931 ^[2] & was buried at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Deer River, Itasca County, Minnesota. ^[3]

He passed away about 1900. ^[4]
