Biography
Susanna, married William Corbin 19 Feb 1787; her father William gave his written consent which was a normal practice in the era when she married. William Corbin appears in the Pittsylvania County personal tax lists in 1788 and 1789, but I didn't find him in 1790 or 1791. William died before July 1801, when his father Ambrose Corbin was appointed guardian of William's children Jamison, Thompson, and Mary Corbin.[1] Jamison Corbin married his first cousin Sarah Davis, daughter of Benjamin.
Susanna Davis, widow of William Corbin, married (2) William Nelson, whose sister Barsheba was the first wife of William Ricketts, husband of Susanna Davis's sister Nancy.[2]
