Betty is my 13th cousin. Terri Solomon / McGhee

I see K (C)atherine Odom's death certificate. Her husband is the informant. He says that her birth is Aug 26 1909, but the Kentucky birth index shows her birth as Aug 24 1919. Amos and Lula weren't even married in 1909. I have a copy of their marriage certificate and they got married in 1912.

Betty - the information on her death certificate is just a typo - if you look at how old they say she is when she died (19 years 3 months and 23 days) that is correct. The typo is on her birth date which should have been 1919 instead of 1909.

Thanks for checking that out.

Hi Betty,

Just want you to know that we are second cousins once removed. We are related by Mamie Cusic. Have a great day!

Hi Betty,

This is a courtesy e-mail to see how things are going. Are you enjoying WikiTree so far?

Have the tips in the New Member How-Tos been helpful? Most of us still have some questions after reviewing them.

I'm here to help with issues and questions about how WikiTree works. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send a private message.

Betty, Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz! Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, thus coordinating with others is essential.

The North Carolina Project fits or German Roots Project for some of your Hays ancestors. Click the link to read how to join.

The Pre-1700’s sources recommendations are:Cite Reliable sources

Or use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find a project..

For questions, just ask!

Hi Betty,

Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.

Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.

Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.

Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.

Ludwig :)

PS If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section of your profile page.
