Elias Walter Davis was born in 1848. He was the son of Walter Davis and Elizabeth Funk. His siblings according to the 1860 and 1870 censuses were Sarah, David, Caroline and Elmira.
He married Harriet Adelia de Rome. They had four children:
Samuel Albert Davis, May 18, 1876-May 3, 1907
Frederick E Davis, January 17, 1879-December 8, 1968;
Lulu Elizabeth Davis, 1878
Paul Walter Davis, July 131888-7 July 7 1967.
He passed away in 1909 and was buried at Iuka Cemetery, Iuka, Pratt County, Kansas, United States. His Find a Grave memorial contains a picture of his headstone and the dates.
