Elizabeth Davis was born 20 March 1747 in Orange, New York.[citation needed] She passed away in 1840 in Hancock, VA.[1]
She is not mentioned by name but it is believed that she is recorded with her husband, Hugh Pugh, in the 1810 United States Census living in Brooke Virginia. This area of Virginia became West Virginia.[2]
Elizabeth was born about 1746. She passed away about 1820.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elizabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elizabeth:
Some Say(tm) she was daughter of Solomon Davids and Lea Decker, who existed and was bap. 20 March 1748 at Machackemeck, but it's not clear what evidence links that Elizabeth with this one.
