Biography
Mary Sarah Elizabeth Ann Davis was born on 10 Aug 1873 in Crawford County, Indiana, the seventh child of Mary (Polly) Penrod and Milton Reese Davis.
On 3 Aug 1893 she married Jonathon James Hosea, son of Sarah Jane Lucas and Romulus Hosea, in Clark County, Indiana. They had one daughter and one son. The daughter died as an infant.
In 1900 the family lived in Humbolt Illinois, where Mary's father and two brothers (John and Milton) also were living. Borhter William Davis was a boarder with Mary and her family.
Mary passed away on 4 Aug 1941 in DeKalb, DeKalb County, Illinois and is buried at Oakwood Cemetery in DeKalb.
