He was noted as working on farm, born 1864 in Alabama and single as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self Mary Davis, son Crawford Davis, son Walter Davis, son Stephen Davis, daughter Hattie Davis, daughter Kattie Davis, daughter Mollie Davis and servant Ainca Fanning.^[2]
