Biography

Charity was born in 1808. She was the daughter of Elisha Davis and Julianner Hulse. Charry married David Hudson. She passed away in 1841.

A letter written in 1924 from Ellen S. Brown, describing a visit in 1855 to Josiah Davis' house, transcribed at the profile of Joseph Davis Davis-51670 mentions that her "grandmother's oldest son Luther Brown" had a family resemblance to Joseph. She was born to Isaac W. Brown and Charry ___. The suggested, and seemingly likely, connection to Charry Davis (Hudson) needs research
