Biography

Bengaman F Davis was enumerated as son of the head of household in Ward 5, Jackson Parish, Louisiana for the June 27, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as a farm laborer, born March 1889 in Louisiana and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head John Davis, wife Katie C Davis, son Charles E Davis, daughter Laura G Davis, daughter Francis M Davis, son John S Davis, son Jessy E Davis, daughter Lela E Davis, daughter Lucy E Davis, son William H Davis, stepdaughter Tela O Nesbit and stepdaughter Mattie V Nesbit.[1]

Benjamin Franklin Davis is buried at Ebenezer Cemetery in Weston, Jackson Parish, Louisiana, USA.[2]
