mentioned in the obit of her mother:
1940 - Obituary Mrs. Rupert Davis Mrs. Rupert Davis, an aged and well-known resident of the town, passed away Sunday night at 12:00 o'clock, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. H. C. Wyman, after an illness of three weeks. Mrs. Davis, who was 86 years of age, was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Arnold, Chipman Brook. She was a widow of the late Rupert Davis, Chief of Police of the Town of Kentville for 46 years. Two daughters are left to mourn their loss, Mrs. H. C. Wyman and Mrs. Alfred Whiting, both of Kentville. She will also be much missed by her many friends by whom she was highly esteemed. The funeral services will be held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wyman, Dale St., Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 PM. Rev. W. C. Machum officiating. Internment will be in the family plot at the Oaks Cemetery.

note - Hi Terri, Wayne has been working on the location of the Davis family and has found where it is. He found the place where Rupert’s two daughters and their husbands are buried. It is lot 406 in the Oak Grove Cemetery. There are 6 spots but no headstones. He concludes that the Rupert and his wife are buried with their daughters so the question is answered.
