Barbara was born in 1909 in Washita County, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Robert Davis and Mary Cowden. Her father died just a few months after she was born. I've had trouble establishing where the family lived from 1910 to 1930, when they all had moved to California. Barbara was married to Arthur Brandi for about 10 years. Many family members moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, in the 1950's, including Barbara. In Arizona, she married a man named Bill Thomas, who was considerably younger than her. I haven't been able to establish his identify. She never had children, although she was a loving aunt to R L's children. Barbara passed away in 1976 in Arizona.
SCOTTSDALE - Services for Barbara Lee Thomas, 67, a member of Camelback Christian Church, will be at 2 p.m. today in Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School.
