Biography

Abigal Davis was born April 26, 1798, the daughter of Jabez Davis and Experience Linnell of Barnstable, Mass ^[1]

On April 18, 1717, she published her intention to marry Joseph Hamblen, the son of Israel Hamblen and Abigail Lumbert of Barnstable, Mass. They were married in September 1717/8^{[2] [3][1] [4] [5]} . Their children included:

1. Lois, baptized May 26, 1722^{[4] [5]}
2. Esther, baptized April 23, 1727^[4]
3. Susannah, baptized May 12, 1728^[4]

Joseph died before 1730, when his widow remarried. .

On August 27, 1730, she married John Barlow^[6] No children are noted in these records.

Abigal (Davis) Hamblen Barlow died April 25, 1740^{[4] [7]}
