Ruth Davis Blackston, 78, wife of Clifton Blackston, died December 28, 2016.
Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Grace Nix Davis.
Mrs. Blackston worked for over 30 years in the retail field with Ivey’s and Dillard’s as a leading sales associate. She loved to arrange flowers and interior decorating.
Surviving are her children, Karen Blackston Anderson and husband, Clifford, of Louisville, KY, Dr. Barry Blackston and wife, Maree, and Kevin Blackston and wife, Lisa, of Greenville; grandchildren, Kyle Anderson, Mayden Blackston, Kaitlin Wyatt, and Scottie Blackston; siblings, Ruby Albertson, and Gary Davis and wife, Theairl, all of Easley.
