He passed away in 1872.

DEATH IN THE HOSPITAL. — Yesterday a man well known as a very old resident in the District died, in the Bathurst Hospital. William Davis, alias Little Billy the Tailor, lived for many years in Kelso, but for some years past has resided in Bathurst. He has been failing for a long time past, and having become quite imbecile, he has during the last eight months been in the Bathurst Hospital, where he died yesterday from paralysis of the brain. He has left behind him a widow and a large family of small children.[1]
