Henry A. Davis, son of Matthew Jackson Davis and Eliza Jane (Flippin) Davis, was born on 15 Aug. 1881 in Texas.[1][2]
He married Myrtle Armstrong, daughter of Clinton D. Armstrong and Myra (Irwin) Armstrong, on 10 Feb. 1903 in Carter, Oklahoma.[3]
He was a laborer doing odd jobs when he and Myrtle appeared on the census of 26 April 1910 at Comanche Ward 3, Stephens, Oklahoma. Her father was living with them.[4] He was a clerk in a drug store when he and Myrtle appeared on the census of 13 Jan. 1920 at King, Stephens, Oklahoma. His mother was living with them.[5]
He married Gladys M. Pettijohn, daughter of F. W. Bender and Lydia May Flick, on 29 Sep. 1930 at Los Angeles County, California.[2]
Henry died on 20 Sep. 1953 in Los Angles County, California.[6] and was probably buried at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Commerce, Los Angeles County, California. The memorial has only the year of death.[7]
