Lena (Davis) Griffin is a part of US Black heritage.
Lena was born about 1906. She is the daughter of Plummer Davis.
On December 28, 1925, Lena Davis, daughter of Plummer Davis, married Addison Griffin, son of George and Lucy Griffin, in Nashville, North Carolina by a justice of the peace.[1]
In 1930 Addison and Lena were farming in Coopers Township with their two sons, James (3) and George (1). Also in residence were 5 of Addison's siblings.[2]
In 1940 Addison and Lena were renting a farm on State Road 481 in Enfield, North Carolina. They had 7 children under the age of 12.[3]
