One reason I have for Hannah being a DAVIS is:
John and Hannah DAVIS AROBOGAST's son, John Jr., born1804 Pendleton County m Mary A. WOOD (another of my brick walls) 15 July 1824, Pendleton County and they had a son, Solomon DAVIS ARBOGAST b abt. 1826, Randolph County m Emily Melvina ANDERSON 6 June 1847, Randolph County. This is his full name on his death certificate and I believe Solomon was named for his grandmother, Hannah DAVIS. We have no other DAVIS as surnames or as middle names any where in our line. So now we just have to turn over the right rock to find the right DAVIS.
