Biography

Etta Davy was born on 14 January 1891 ^[1] in Swardeston, Norfolk, and baptised with her siblings on 5 July 1891 in the parish of Swardeston, Norfolk on 5 July 1891. The parish record of the baptism shows the birth dates of Etta and the names and birth dates of her siblings.

As a 10 year old she was living with her father James , mother Emily Hubberd and four siblings, Edward, Otto, Ella Maria and Emily in Swardeston, Norfolk. ^[2]

In 1911, aged 20, Etta was living with her widowed mother and her sister Ella Maria in Norwich, Norfolk. ^[3] Note that Etta's name has been transcribed incorrectly as 'Ettan' from the original census document.

In December 1915 Etta Davy married Cyril Charles Diaper in Norwich, Norfolk ^[4].

The date of death for Etta Mary Diaper is unknown.
