George DAVIS born 12 May 1762, son of Peter DAVIS & Maria [?]: baptised 23 May 1762. Sponsors: maternal uncle Georg Saltzman & his wife Cathrin Lis.[1]

George Davy and Peter Davis [likely brothers] served as Patriot soldiers in Col. Peter Bellinger's 4th Tryon County Regiment, along with their 1st cousin Sgt. John Davey.[2]
