Biography
Harriet's origins are unconfirmed. There is a possible birth in Cornwall [1]. This requires further research. If this is Harriet, it is not certain when and how she came to Australia.
The first confirmed record for Harriet is the birth of her daughter in 1914. The following year she married John Barrien [2], probably the father of her baby.
After John's death in 1927 she stayed on in Charleville for several years before moving to Brisbane [3].
She died in Brisbane in 1982 [4].
