Biography
Martin was born in 1846. He was the son of William Dawe and Harriet Unknown. He was living with his parents and siblings at Berrow, Worcestershire in 1851. He was still living with his parents and siblings at Whiting, Barrow, Worcestershire in 1861. He was living in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire in 1871. He married in 1871. He was living with his wife and children at Barrack Street, Aston, Warwickshire and working as a police constable in 1881. He was still living with his wife and daughter at Bromsgrove Street, Birmingham and working as a police constable in 1891. He was still living with his wife and son at Holly Bed Common. Castle Morton, Worcestershire and he was a retired pensioned(police constable) in 1901. He was living with his wife at Berrow, Worcestershire and he was a police pensioner lodge keeper in 1911. He passed away in 1916.
