Biography
Margaret Dawes was born 6 December 1789 in Boston, Massachusetts to Judge Thomas Dawes and Hannah Blake.
She married her cousin, William Greenleaf Eliot, Sr. July 14 1807 in Boston, Massachusetts. They had five children.
Margaret died 25 Jun 1875 (as inscribed on her grave stone), however, FindAGrave lists her date of death as 25 Jun 1876. A suggested correction has been sent to FG 16 Apr 2022 9:42 pm by Jeanie Rice Buchanan.
