Biography

Reuben D. Dawkins was born 05 Sep 1837 in Abbeville County, South Carolina to Elijah Dawkins and Elizabeth Lowe.[1]

He married wife Martha Holliday[2][3][4][5] about 1865[6][7] and the couple had the following known children:

  1. Jane "Jannie" Dawkins was born 15 Jul 1866[8] in South Carolina.[9] She died 16 May 1947 in Greenville County, South Carolina and was buried in Cedar Shoals Cemetery.[2]
  2. Sally Louise Dawkins was born 31 May[3] 1868 in South Carolina.[9] She died 04 Mar 1935 in Dunklin, Greenville County, South Carolina and was buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery.[3]
  3. Emma Dawkins was born 02 Sep 1873 in South Carolina, died 08 Jun 1940 in Dunklin, Greenville County, South Carolina and was buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery.[4][9]
  4. Anna Dawkins was born about 1874 in South Carolina.[9]
  5. Georgia Dawkins was born 07 Sep 1876 in South Carolina. She died 23 Jan 1965 in Belton, Greenville County, South Carolina and was buried in Cedar Shoals Church Cemetery.[5][9]

Reuben died 05 Sep 1917 in Dunklin, Greenville County, South Carolina.[1]
