Obituary

DAWLEY, J. Dwight (1919 - 2007) Wednesday, May 23, 2007, in the presence of his family at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital at the age of 87. Cherished husband of 66 years of Myrtle Simmons. Loving father of Linda (Peter Burman), Diane (John Sauve) and the late Barbara Dickson and father-in-law of Alan Major. Adored grandfather of Kyle, Trevor, Tim, Todd, Alana, Shawn, and Danielle and 10 great grandchildren. Brother of Lula Hanes (late George) and Raymond Dawley (Dorothy) and brother-in-law of Ruby Dawley and Marion Dawley. He was a son of the late Melvin and Sadie (Saddlemire) Dawley. Predeceased by brothers Basil and Stirling and sister Wilma. He was a longtime member of the Holstein-Friesian Association of Canada. Friends may pay respects at the Winchester Funeral Home, 505 Church Street (613-774-2120), Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service Saturday in the Chapel at 10:30 am. Interment Maple Ridge Cemetery. In Memoriam, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Winchester District Memorial Hospital appreciated. Steadfastly behind us, always beside us, and forever in our hearts.
