Irene was born in 1902. She was the daughter of William Dawley and Rose Byrne. She passed away in 1950.[1] She is buried in the Riverview Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia, USA.[2]
In 1944, Irene married William Roland Burton.[1]
Burton-Dawley
The marriage of Miss Irene Barham Dawley, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William L. Dawley and Private First Class William Roland Burtonm United States Army Air Forces, son of Mrs. W. T. Burton and the late Mr. Burton took place in Wichita Falls, Texas December 24.
Private Burton is stationed at Luke Field, Arizona.[3]

Mrs. Irene Burton, 46, of 7008 River Drive, Newport News, died yesterday morning in Riverside Hospital after a short illness.
A native of Richmond, she had lived in this City for the past two years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, W. Roland Burton, in charge of purchasing at Riverside Hospital; two sisters, of Washington and Richmond; and a brother of Irvington.
Funeral services will be in Richmond.[4]
Besides her husband she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Percy J. Carr, of Richmond, and Mrs. Elwyn D. Wittsell, of College Park Md., and a brother R. A. S. Dawley, of Kilmarnock.[5]
