Esther was born in 1817. She was the daughter of Robert Williams Daws and Jane Clark. She was christened in Charminster on 28 December 1817.[1]
In 1841 she was unmarried and living with her parents and two brothers in Charminster.[2]
Esther married Jeffrey Ford, on 3 September 1843.[3]
In 1851 Esther was living in Abbotsbury (Weymouth district) with her husband Jeffery Ford and sons George, John and Charles. Jeffery was a labourer and Esther a "Nitmaker". Her mother Jane (76) was living with the family.[4]
Research Notes
The burial for Hester Ford in 1857 should not be assumed to be Esther Ford, as there was a Hester Ford born in Abbotsbury in 1818. More research necessary to confirm or refute.
