Emily was born in 1843 to Henry Daws and Elizabeth Burgess. Her birth was registered in the June quarter in Saint Saviours Union district.[1]
She married John Newman on August 13, 1865 at the District Parish Church in St John the Baptist, Hoxton, Middlesex. They were both living on Hoxton Market, John at 6 Hoxton Market and Emily at 1 Hoxton Market. Their witnesses were Henry Joseph Daws, her father, and Elizabeth Mary Long.[2][3]
She died in 1931. Emily's death (age 88) was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1931 in the Islington district.[4]
