Biography
Col. John Dawson died in Northampton County, N. C., in 1761. He was Justice of the Peace in 1739 for Bertie County. He left large estates to his son Henry and bequests to his daughter Mary, who married William Kinchen.
Henry, who resided in Northampton County, NC, was a member of the North Carolina Assembly in Nov 1766.

Dawson-5209 and Dawson-3547 do not represent the same person because: I believe that the two Different Dawsons are from different parts of country an I have proof that 5209 is from Virginia and the dates are different. You also need to find proof of relatives, which you do not have. Bob Tiffner
