Biography

Cecilia Dawson was born 30 November 1855 to Margaret McLaren and William Dawson. On 1 October 1881, she married John Archibald McFarlane in Ontario, Canada. John and Cecilia had three daughters during the first five years of their marriage, before Cecilia passed away in 1886. She died from Phthisis Pulmonalis (Tuberculosis of the Lungs) two months after giving birth to her youngest daughter. Records show her religious preference as Presbyterian.
