Charles was born in 1867, son of Jacob Day and Catherine Pease.[1]
In 1880, Charles, age 12, at school, lived in New York City, New York. His father, Jacob Day, age 60, is a caterer, his wife Catherine, age 52, Jacob Jr, 30, works with father, Catherine, 28 and Caroline, age 17, both living at home.[2]
In 1900, Charles, age 33, single, caterer lived in Brooklyn, Kings, New York. His brother, Jacob Jr, 52, caterer, is head of household, with sisters Catherine, 55, widowed, and sister Caroline, 41, single.[3]
Charles married Emily Hunter, 14 Feb 1910, Brooklyn, New York.
In 1910, Charles, age 40, married, caterer, living in Brooklyn, Kings, New York. His wife Emily, 30, born in the dist of Columbia, married under one year, no children. Emily's father was also from the Dist of Columbia, her mother from Massachusetts. Charles' sisters, Catherine, 65, widowed (17 years of marriage, no children), and Caroline, 50, single are living with them. None of the ladies are employed.[4]
He passed away in 1918 and is buried in the Cyress Hills Cemetery, New York.[1]
