Biography
Hannah was born on 28 May 1838 in Wesley, Maine. She was the daughter of John Alvin Day Sr. (1801-1841) and Elizabeth (Gray) Day (1812-1880).[1] Hannah's father died in 1841, and her mother remarried to William Davis. In the 1850 census Hannah (Day) Davis (age 13) was in Wesley, Washington, Maine, United States.[2]
