Biography
Stephen was born in 1801. Stephen is the child of Thomas Dayton and Charlotte Cherry. [1]
Stephen and his wife lived on Puts Hill, Greenwich, CT in 1845. They were at Shippan Point, Stamford, CT in 1847, then to Noroton, CT where they owned a small farm.
1860 census shows he lived in Darien, Conn with his wife and daughter Mary Elizabeth. He died in 1861 and was buried in Noroton Cemetery in Darien.
