Biography
Matilde Décuir was born circa 1846 probably in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, USA. She appeared on the census of 12 Nov. 1850 in the household of her parents, Ovide Décuir and Adèle (Ozenne) Decuir, at Coteau, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.[1] She appeared on the census of 23 July 1860 in the household of her parents at Attakapas, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana. [2]
Mathilde died on 3 Jan. 1866 at St. Martin Parish, Louisiana. Her death was recorded at St. Martin of Tours, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana. [3]
