Marie DeFrance was born Sept. 27, 1811 in Washington County, Pennsylvania and died Nov. 26, 1894 in Washington County, Pennsylvania. She married John Ewing circa 1828, he was born Feb. 3, 1804 and died June 11, 1835. They were the parents of two children. She is listed in the 1850 and 1860 census of Smith Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania. She apparently remarried a man named Johnson, and was living in Caudore, Washington County, Pennsylvania in the 1880 census, her daughter Martha Robinson and grandson Allen F. Robinson were living with her.
John DeFrance Ewingwas born November 19, 1832 in Ohio and died December 17, 1882. He first married Martha Ann Cassidy in circa 1856, who died April 27, 1857. Secondly he married Mary Jane McMillan circa 1858. Mary Jane was born circa Mar. of 1840 in Pennsylvania.
Martha Jane Ewing was born July 12, 1833 and died circa 1913 at Bugler, Washington County, Pennsylvania. She married Joseph Robinson circa 1865, he died April 20, 1870. She secondly married John DeFrance (AABAEC) circa 1892.
