Biography
Jerry was born October 8, 1881 at Kent, Carleton County, New Brunswick. He was a son of Edward DeMerchant and Lavina (Ryder) DeMerchan. He was one of a large family of siblings, and a member of a large extended family of Demerchants who were farmers in that area.
He married Alma Elizabeth Drost.
Alma passed away in 1927.
Jerry passed away in 1974 and was interred at the Lower Wicklow Cemetery,[1][2]
