Jacques DeRouen, son of Jacques Derouen and Charlotte LeLeu, was born on 23 June 1803 in Petite Anse, Louisiana, and baptized a year and a half later by the priest of St. Martin de Tours Church in St. Martinville.[1]
Jacques died on 24 April 1886 in New Iberia, Louisiana, at age 82.[1]
